E-Lins' H900f and H685f routers are two industrial-grade IoT wireless communication devices. They both support 5G networks and feature high performance, stability, reliability, powerful functions, and security. However, there are some differences between them.
1. Size and appearance
Both routers have metal casings, a protection level of IP30, and both have LED indicators. Suitable for desktop, wall or rail mounting. But they differ in size, with the H900f router measuring 134 x 114 x 45 mm and weighing 710g, and the H685f router measuring 100 x 60 x 22 mm and weighing 220g. The appearance design of the H900f router is simple and elegant, while the H685f router adopts a super mini design.

The H900f router has rich interfaces, including 4 RJ45 LAN ports, 1 RJ45 WAN port, 1 RS232 or RS485 serial port, 1 USB port, and 2 SIM card slots. The H900f router supports the POE function and can be powered through a network cable or input a voltage of 5~40V through DC port or terminal block.
The interface of the H685f router is relatively simple, including 1 RJ45 LAN port, 1 RJ45 WAN port, 1 RS232 or RS485 serial port, and 1 SIM card slot. The H685f router inputs a voltage of 5~40V through the DC connector or terminal block.
Both routers support three installation methods: desktop installation, wall installation and rail installation.
3. Function and performance
Both H900f router and H685f router have powerful functions and performance. They both support 5G network, which can achieve high-speed data transmission and low-latency response. They are also compatible with 4G and 3G networks, and can achieve full Netcom compatibility and coverage. They all use high-performance industrial-grade wireless modules and 32-bit dual-core communication processors to ensure stable operation and efficient processing of the equipment. In addition to the above-mentioned common functions and performance, the H900f router and H685f router also have some respective features and advantages. The H900f router supports POE function and can be powered through the network port; it supports a USB interface; it also supports dual SIM card redundant backup function to ensure smooth network operation.
The features and advantages of the H685f router are its ultra-miniature design but comprehensive functions. Its volume and weight are about one-third of the H900f router, which can save space and cost, and can also be easily embedded into other devices to achieve All-in-one solution.
