Want to go deeper, it’s about America’s latest wrestling match between feminism and female empowerment of the 21st century; so what is exciting you more?

The 2019 Miss America Competition is going to live on September 9 on ABC co-hosted by “Dancing With the Stars” and will be judged by Carrie Ann Inaba and Ross Mathews, a panelist from "RuPaul's Drag Race.

Let’s see who’s involved and what’s their catch;

  • The Combatants

Gretchen Carlson, the 1989 Miss America announced that Miss America 2.0 is longer a pageant, but a competition.

Cara Mund, a reigning Miss America not pleased by the changes and claimed to be bullied by pageant officials including Carlson and some other charges.

  • The State Pageants’ View

Representatives Of 22 states signed a petition for the resignations of CEO Regina Hopper and Carlson, expressing "no confidence" in the Miss America board of trustees.

When The Dispute Arise?

The drama started back in December 2017 when CEO Sam Haskell and some other board members departed after the leak of sexist and vulgar emails destroying the intellect, appearance and sex lives of former Miss America.

Let’s Talk About Healing….

On Aug. 8, in an interview with AP where Carlson said that it would be her last on the subject and she hoped for healing and unity by the next Miss America.

"It would be important that we all try to come together and have a healing process," she also said while dismissing her critics as "a noisy minority" mostly unhappy about the swimsuit competition elimination.

The conflict was still there even contestants begin arriving in Atlantic City; it might even get worse, at least publicly.
