Entrance Tests for MBBS Course in India

There are three national-level examinations for entry into medical colleges:

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the national level entrance exam, for students who wish to pursue any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or post graduate course (MS / MD) in government or private medical colleges in India.

Hence, the academic part of the MBBS course is four and a half years long, which is covered in a total of nine semesters.

For Government funded institutions, it is lower.
