Now I Got It is a not for profit organization in the USA led by Nicole K. Jackson. The idea behind this organization is ‘They say it takes a village to raise a child, but what happens when the child grows up to be a young adult?’
The organization operates in a very meticulous way as it first plans to do a thorough survey to understand the current scenario better and then develop a custom Basic Life skill program ideal to nourish and nurture the young minds. The major focus of this program will be to encourage recycling, understanding of finance and low cost travelling.
The Board of Directors consists of founder Nikole K. Jackson, Secretary Crystal Lomax- Parker and Treasurer Debbie Jacques. Some of the destinations identified as a great place to start learning are:
- Local recycling center - To spread awareness and importance of going green
- Hostels - Participants will be sent to hostels to help them market better and bring light to inexpensive travelling
- Credit Union - The major goal of sending participants here is to help them prepare for future financial responsibilities and make them more responsible citizens.
The certificate gained from this program will also act as an additional credibility in the experiences of the young adults and might help them land a job in the near future. The team of Now I Got It will also be keeping in touch with their applicants after the program is successfully completed and help them make better decisions in life. Regular consulting and mentor sessions will be held to empower individuals.
This theory will act as a reality by taking specific steps in upbringing the children from villages.
