How Working Night Shift Could Be Killing You

Working the night shift can be hard on your body. Night shifts are more likely to lead to higher blood pressure, heart disease, and obesity than day shifts.  In addition, people who work at night have a higher risk of developing depression because they don't get enough sunlight during the day. It's important for employers and employees alike to know these risks so that management can take measures to mitigate them (i.e., provide healthy food options) or employees can make an informed decision about whether or not they want to work nights in the first place!

With working, nights comes a lack of sleep (and being tired all day). This is because working at night messes with your circadian rhythm, which is our body's natural clock based on light exposure and melatonin production levels. The result? A higher incidence of cardiovascular events like strokes or heart attacks in people who work the graveyard shift than in those who don't!

This article will discuss how the working night shift can be killing you, what night shifts mean for your health, and why they might not be worth it after all!
