The process of healing is a natural phenomenon that occurs regularly throughout our bodies. Our immune system uses the process of healing to repair damaged cells, remove toxins, and promote the production of blood cells.

1. Meditation:  Meditation is a practice that involves the use of techniques to reduce stress, increase focus, improve memory, and enhance relaxation. To meditate, you need to sit comfortably and close your eyes. You may want to wear comfortable clothes and avoid any jewelry that could cause discomfort when sitting still. Try to keep your body straight and upright. When you start meditation around forgiveness, try to clear your mind of thoughts and concentrate on your breathing. Take deep breaths through your nose while counting down from ten. Once you reach zero, think about your breath going into your body and relaxing each muscle group slowly. Allow yourself to relax completely and feel yourself drift off into sleep.

 2. Relaxation: Relaxation is the act of letting go of tension in your muscles. To do this, first, take deep breaths and focus on your breathing. Next, imagine a rubber band around your head pulling tight, then visualize releasing it. Repeat this exercise until you feel relaxed.

 3. Visualization: Visualization is the act of seeing something in your imagination. When doing visualization, think about what you would like to achieve. How does it make you feel? What emotions do you associate with it? If you had the opportunity to create this situation, how would you do it? Picture yourself achieving your goal in process of healing.

 4. Exercise: Exercise is anything we put our body through. It can be physical, mental, or spiritual. Exercising helps us stay fit and healthy. Whether you prefer running or swimming, working out releases endorphins and serotonin, two chemicals that give us feelings of pleasure. It relieves stress and increases self-confidence.

 5. Sleep: Sleep is a necessary component of our day; however, many people don't get enough of it. Lack of sleep causes fatigue, irritability, and poor decision-making. Even worse, lack of quality sleep can lead to depression and anxiety. Make sure you have a bedtime routine and stick to it. Get adequate amounts of sleep at least seven nights per week.

 6. Healthy eating: Eating well keeps us feeling good. Eating nutritious foods gives us energy and boosts our immune system. A balanced diet includes vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean meats, fish, nuts, seeds, beans, eggs, and dairy products.

 7. Gratitude:  Gratitude is the simple act of being thankful for everything in your life. Every time you thank someone or something for their help, you make them feel special and appreciated. By expressing gratitude, you allow others to know they matter to you and that you appreciate them.
