Everest base camp trekking is an adventure that leads you to the foot of Mt. Everest. Enjoy the dramatic, stunning scenery within remorseless fields of ice and glaciers. Everest base camp, is one of the popular adventure destinations in the Himalayas, an unparalleled vista of the worldâs highest peaks.
Besides breathtaking scenery, the local culture and customs are equally captivating, as you start the trek from Lukla town. The trek leads to nice villages for overnight stops in lovely lodges at Phakding. The walk continues to enter Sagarmatha National Park, Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepal.
Slowly climb starts reaching at famous Namche Bazaar 3,440 m for rest and acclimatization day. From Namche on a scenic trail to Everest base camp through a beautiful spot of Tengboche and majestic monastery.
Surrounded by an array of peaks facing view of Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam, amidst green woodland. After Tengboche walk into the sheer wilderness, heading past Pangboche to Dingboche, located in scenic Imjatse valley.
Having a rest day at Dingboche, the adventure continues towards the arid mountainous zone to Lobuche, and then at Everest base camp.
Enjoy standing beneath the world's highest peaks, and close to Khumbu Ice-Fall, next day climb to high Kalapathar Hill. Rewards mind-blowing panorama of a giant snow mountain range with Mt. Everest at close distance.
On completing the major highlights, walk downhill to Lukla via Namche Bazaar. The next morning a swift short flight brings you to Kathmandu, after a wonderful experience on the Everest base camp trek.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla 2,800 m -07 hrs.
Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Day 14: Final Departure for homeward bound or to respective countries.
Everest Base Camp Trekking Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,300 m and transfer to hotel.
On the first arrival at Kathmandu, our staff receives you for a short drive to your hotel. Checking the nice rooms and then briefing is held by our guide and leaders regarding the treks with necessary information. Evening a group dinner in a Nepali restaurant, then back to the hotel. Getting ready and packing for the next morning's scenic flight to Lukla.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla and walk to Phakding 2,651 m-04 hrs.
Early morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for a short scenic flight to land at Tenzing & Hillary airport in Lukla. Start the trek following our expert guide towards Dudh Kosi River, then reaching at Phakding for an overnight halt.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440-06 hrs.
A long day walks to Namche Bazaar, having breakfast the first part of the walk on a gradual path. Walk up to Monjo village and then enter the Sagarmatha National Park, Sagarmatha a Nepalese name for Everest. The Sherpa calls Chomolungma, the park is designated as World Heritage Site, the walk continues crossing bridges and then having lunch. Leaving the last Jorsalle village from the high bridge climb begins till Namche is reached for overnight stop.
Day 04: At Namche Bazaar for acclimatization day.
Namche Bazaar a large village, having many facilities for local Sherpa as well for trekkers. A perfect height for rest day and to support acclimatization before heading to Everest base camp. Enjoy the rest day with short hike to view-points offers grand views of Everest and surrounding high peaks.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche 3,867-05 hrs.
Morning a short steep climb and then on easy scenic trail down to Phunge Tenga, situated close to Imjatse River. Stopping for lunch in the midst of beautiful forest of rhododendron and pines, afternoon climb for few hours to Tengboche.
One of the most beautiful spot with a famous colorful impressive monastery for visit. Tengboche surrounded by giant peaks with grand views of Mt. Everest and close look of majestic Ama Dablam. Enjoy the tour of monastery and then check into a nice lodge with room facing wonderful scenery.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche 4,360 m-05 hrs.
Morning catch the view of Mt. Everest with panorama of high snow mountain range. From Tengboche walk down to a bridge with slow climb to Pangboche and then at Somare for lunch. Located right beneath towering Ama Dablam, having lunch a slow steady walk to Dingboche, placed on scenic Imjatse valley.
Enjoy view of Lhotse, Island Peak and Ama Dablam north face as you check into a nice lodge for overnight halt.
Day 07: Rest and acclimatization day at Dingboche with short hike.
Another rest day for acclimatization and short excursion to high hills of Nakarjung, offers wide panorama of surrounding mountain range. Includes view of world 5th highest Mt. Makalu in the east, rest of the day at leisure.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche 4,940 m-05 hrs.
Morning after breakfast a short climb to a high ridge, facing grand views of snow peaks. Walk continues on gradual ups to Thugla for lunch stop, a small settlement with few tea houses. Afternoon a steep climb of an hour to Thugla top ridge, and then pleasant high altitude walk to Lobuche. Lobuche with many nice lodges for overnight stay facing views of Lobuche peaks with Mt. Nuptse.
Day 09: Trek to Gorakshep unto Everest Base Camp 5,364 m / 17,594 feet
and back to Gorakshep for overnight 5,164 m / 16,940 feet-08 hrs.
Today the adventure takes to the main highlight at Everest base camp, from Lobuche start early morning. As walk takes you on a wide valley and then climb up towards rocky moraine above Khumbu glacier. Then reach at Gorakshep, a small settlement with few good lodges, from here walk towards Everest base camp. At the base camp enjoy the dramatic arctic like landscapes Mt. Everest lies hidden by Lhotse and Nuptse peaks. After an exciting time head back to Gorakshep for overnight, enjoying great experience at worldâs highest peaks base camp.
Day 10: Hike to Kala Pathar 5,364 m and trek to Pheriche 4,288 m- 06 hrs.
Early morning before sunrise, climb up to Kalapathar hill there are two tops the closest one is at 5,545 m. The highest top located further ups, after few hours of strenuous climb enjoy the alluring panorama of towering giant peaks.
Facing closest views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Mt. Pumori, and then down to Gorakshep for breakfast. Morning walk on pleasant downhill past Lobuche and Thugla to Pheriche settlement for overnight stop.
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m / 11,280 feet -07 hrs.
A long day walk but pleasant as altitude loses every hours of walk on the downhill, from Pheriche with short ups and descend to Pangboche and further. On reaching a bridge climb for a few hours to Tengboche, and then on the trail back to Namche Bazaar for an overnight halt.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla 2,800 m -07 hrs.
Last and final day walk of the adventure, enjoy the long descent to Dudh Koshi River and then reach the exit gate of Sagarmatha National Park. As the walk follows to Phakding for lunch, the afternoon a few hours of good walk with the last climb to Lukla.
Overnight in the comfort of a nice lodge at Lukla, after long hours of trekking enjoy the final night in Khumbu.
Day 13: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Early breakfast and walk to Tenzing & Hillary Airport in Lukla, as the small plane arrives, then get on board. A panoramic short flight brings you to Kathmandu, where our adventurous Everest base camp trek concludes. Rest of the afternoon at leisure for individual activities.
Day 14: Final Departure for homeward bound or to respective countries.
As per the international flight time, our staff transfers you to the airport terminal for your final departure homeward bound from amazing Nepal. After a mesmerizing adventure on Everest base camp trekking.
