The temperature range of Alloy C22 Compression Tube Fittings for heavy forming or forging is 1850 Degree F to 2200 Degree F, where light working can be done at temperatures down to 1700 Degree F.

Alloy C22 Ferrule Tube Fittings is readily cold formed by conventional procedures although its work – hardening rate is high. For best results, Alloy C22 Double Ferrule Tube Fittings should be cold formed in the fine – grain condition, and frequent intermediate anneals should be used. Alloy C22 Female Connector Fittings can also be cut using any conventional plasma arc cutting system.
